Itinerary:

In the morning, our local Xi'an tour guide will pick you up at the exit of Xi'an train station or your hotel lobby in Xi'an, you will find a welcome signage "Meili China Tours". Then depart in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and venture to the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage-listed site of the Terracotta Army directly.

Listen as your guide sets the historical scene and describes how 7,000 life-sized terracotta figures and horses were buried beside Emperor Qin Shihuang in his majestic mausoleum. Disembark and explore the site, marvelling at the endless rows of figures. 

Terracotta Warriors: Browse the exhibitions of the museum to gain further insight into the intriguing history of the tomb.  Revitalize with a traditional Chinese lunch in a local restaurant then head to the site of the Banpo ruins, an ancient area whose origin is more than 6,000 years old. Marvel at artifacts from a Neolithic matriarchal community and hear of how the ruins were discovered during a groundbreaking excavation.   After your explorative tour, return to your comfortable vehicle and relax during the journey back to your Xi'an hotel, where the tour concludes. 

Revitalize with a traditional Chinese lunch in a local restaurant. (our tour guide will give you best recommendaions on spot.)

After lunch, drive you back to Xian city center, you will cntinue your tour to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, or Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China and became the symbol of the old-line Xi'an. It was built in 652 during the Tang dynasty and originally had five stories. The structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian, and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming dynasty. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion and its simple but appealing style of construction. It is rated as a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.

After the visit of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, return to your comfortable vehicle and relax during the journey back to your Xi'an hotel or Xian train station or Xi'an airport.
